Planting borders Keukenhof - Indigo

All the bulbs for the Indigo design were planted at Keukenhof in recent days. Tens of thousands of naturalising bulbs and tulips have gone into the ground.

Every year at Keukenhof, we get to deliver our own design in addition to our flower bulbs. We are proud of that! Our designer, Carien van Boxtel, has been designing a unique combination of colours and varieties for our borders in the park every year since 2019. Each mixture has its own theme and explanation of the design. This year's theme is Indigo. The naturalising bulbs will set the blue tone while the mauve and lilac tones of the tulips and the moon yellow tones of the daffodils will provide depth and colour contrast. This will make the enchanting blue stand out even more, like a night blue sky with moon and stars! Read more about the design here.

The experienced bulb planters at Keukenhof again did their utmost to bring the design to life. Next spring, in the JUB Holland borders in Lisse, you can admire our latest long-flowering bulb mixture Indigo.
