Carien van Boxtel outdid herself again this year with SILK's beautiful design for our JUB stand at Keukenhof.
The colourful sea of flowers included the Tulipa 'Apricot Pride', 'Apricot Foxx, 'Mistress Mystic' and the beautiful Narcissus 'Polar Ice'.

While most borders begin to fade, Colchicum and autumn crocuses offer a final burst of colour. Plant them in early September and enjoy flowers already in autumn. It’s the secret to extending your flowering season – something we at JUB Holland know all about.⁠

🔍 What makes these varieties special?⁠
Colchicum autumnale produces large, powerful blooms without leaves. The foliage appears in spring and dies back before flowering. Plant the bulbs 10 to 20 cm deep in moist, fertile soil – preferably in clusters. The longer they’re left undisturbed, the more profusely they bloom.⁠

Autumn crocuses (Crocus sativus) are smaller, yet equally charming. They thrive in sunny, warm spots with well-drained, calcareous soil. Perfect for naturalising!⁠
⁠
💡 These bulbs are fully hardy and return year after year. Ideal for sustainable planting in parks and public spaces – or as an eye-catching addition to any garden centre range.⁠
