Aster 'Jenny' grows to a height of about 30-40 cm. It blooms red in the period from August to October. This species belongs to the Dumosus group and grows pillow-shaped. The 'Jenny' sometimes blooms so profusely that the entire plant is covered with flowers. This bloom starts in August and can last until October. The flowers are frequented by butterflies. The 'Jenny' can also be planted well in pots. Asters grow well in normal garden soil. A sunny position is preferred but some shade is tolerated. They also tolerate some drought.
