Gypsos stands for chalk and philos for loving, so chalk-loving.Gypsophila is an indispensable border plant if you use a lot of flowers from your own garden. But this plant also has a visual function in the garden itself. When in bloom, a beautiful cloud of white flowers can be seen. This makes them ideal for connecting plants with contrasting flowers.A sunny location is important. For maintenance, it is sufficient to cut back the plant in the spring. You can also sprinkle a handful of calcareous fertiliser, such as bone meal, on the ground near this plant.
