Papaver orientale Mix is a rewarding summer bloomer that can be combined beautifully in the perennial border with its beautiful colour mix. The poppy flowers best in a sandy or light clay soil. The best location is a place out of the wind due to the thin petals. After flowering, the flowers form seed pods, it is best to remove these so that the poppy can bloom again.
