You can plant Red Sun shallots very early in the spring, the first nice days in March are particularly suitable for this. Plant the shallot so deep that it is just below the ground, the top part should just be visible. If you have planted them in time, the shallots will be suitable for harvesting in July-August as soon as the foliage has set down.
