Crocus tommasinianus Whitewell Purple is a botanical crocus in bright purple, around 10 cm tall, flowering in February. It naturalises well and returns year after year; within a few years it forms broad carpets in lawns, verges or beneath trees and shrubs. The early flowers provide valuable pollen and nectar for bees. Guideline for large-scale planting: around 200 bulbs per m2. Plant the bulbs in autumn about 5 cm deep in a sunny to lightly shaded spot in well-drained soil.check out our socials
