This Iris is therefore also well suited for planting in the border.You can plant irises in autumn. Place the bulbs in the planting hole and cover with 5 cm. soil. The planting distance of the bulbs is 10-15 cm. Irises bloom best in full sun. Iris hollandica combines well with perennials and other Iris species.
