Where ideas took root – and practical solutions came into bloom
What stays with you after a day like this? Not just the setting — though few places speak to the imagination quite like RHS Wisley Garden. It’s the conversations that linger. The questions that sharpen your thinking. The small, practical insights that quietly shift the way you approach a planting scheme.
That was the essence of the JUB Holland UK Roadshow 2026.
Across two fully booked days in April — with an additional date added due to demand — we welcomed a diverse group of landscape professionals, each bringing their own challenges, perspectives and ambitions. The energy was open, inquisitive and grounded in practice. Exactly as intended.
A living landscape as learning ground
Wisley offered more than a beautiful backdrop. It became a working classroom. Walking through the gardens together, discussions quickly moved from inspiration to application. What works — and why? Where do bulbs truly add value in long-term planting schemes? How do you balance visual impact with manageability and return on investment?
The programme took us through different parts of RHS Wisley Garden, where we looked at bulbs in real planting situations and discussed how they can be used within professional landscape schemes. From seasonal displays and trial areas to long-term planting combinations and mechanical planting, the day offered plenty of opportunities to connect ideas with practice.
Equally, there was strong interest in translating design intent into measurable outcomes. Not just “what looks good”, but what performs — season after season. Between sessions, informal exchanges proved just as valuable. Ideas were tested, challenged and refined in conversation — often the place where the real progress happens.
A BIG Thank you
We are grateful to everyone who joined us — for your time, your openness and the quality of the conversations throughout both days.
A special thank you to the team at Royal Horticultural Society for hosting us at Wisley, and to our partners Beechwood Industries Ltd and FuturePlants for their valuable contributions and expertise on the ground.
Continuing the conversation
Our Roadshows are never an end point. They are a starting point. The ideas shared at Wisley are already finding their way into new projects, new collaborations and new approaches to planting design. That’s where the real value lies.
If the day sparked a question, a challenge or a new direction for your work — the JUB Holland UK team is ready to think along with you. Let’s take the next step.
