KEUKENHOF

Keukenhof is the international show garden for Dutch ornamental horticulture. Keukenhof has been blooming beautifully since 1949 and JUB Holland was there from the very beginning. We are a bit proud of that, because nowadays Keukenhof attracts more than a million visitors from all corners of the world. Together, we share a passion for flowers, biodiversity and craftsmanship. Our partnership with Keukenhof allows us to showcase our product and share our passion for flower bulbs with a wide audience. JUB represents a part of the garden that is redesigned and then planted every year.

NETHERLANDS ASSOCIATION FOR GARDEN AND LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE

As an NVTL partner, we are part of the network of within which transfer of ideas, exchange of knowledge and reflection on the profession is made possible. Both nationally and internationally, we cooperate with other spatial design disciplines, education, government and numerous green initiatives. Increasing biodiversity in particular is an important pillar and one to which we as a company also want to contribute.

STEENBREEK FOUNDATION

JUB Holland works together with Stichting Steenbreek, an organisation dedicated to greening petrified areas in cities and villages. Stichting Steenbreek's mission is to strengthen biodiversity and climate resilience by inspiring and supporting citizens, municipalities and organisations in greening their surroundings. 'Steenbreek's philosophy of “A green, healthy living environment” is in line with our mission to bring more greenery and diversity to public spaces. We also believe that by working together more, we can achieve more and appeal to a broader target group. With Stichting Steenbreek, we share knowledge and work together on civic initiatives and citizen participation.

Garden BRANCHE netherlands

Tuinbranche Nederland is an association of entrepreneurs from the entire garden chain: suppliers, growers and retailers.
With Tuinbranche Nederland, we work on innovation, being a good employer and on a greener and more sustainable future. Sustainable development, attention to nature and the environment and social involvement are important preconditions for this. The Dutch gardening sector can and wants to make an important contribution to the greening of our country and a greener Netherlands is not possible without a sustainable gardening sector.

The Green Climate Square is an initiative of Tuinbranche Nederland and can be found in various garden centres throughout the Netherlands. It offers garden owners simple tips and inspiration to make their garden greener and more climate-friendly. At JUB Holland, we support this initiative because it fits perfectly with our vision: greening the living environment for a climate-proof future. Especially for the Green Climate Square, we have created a gift bag and contribute suitable products each season. These are products from our organic range but also products that promote biodiversity or respond to the changing climate. In doing so, we actively contribute to this goal and make sustainable gardening accessible to everyone.

NL Greenlabel

NL Greenlabel's partner network is a growing movement of companies and professionals who are making the green space, infrastructure and construction sectors more sustainable. We support this initiative with the aim of realising more green in public spaces by creating a nature-inclusive living environment to be integrated already in area development. Together, we are working on a green, healthy and future-proof living environment.

Green Cities Europe is a valuable partner for JUB Holland in our mission to make cities greener, more liveable and future-proof. Green Cities Europe is committed to creating awareness about the importance of green in urban areas and inspires municipalities, businesses and residents with knowledge and initiatives for climate-adaptive solutions.

Together with Green Cities Europe, JUB Holland works on projects that strengthen greenery in cities. We share our knowledge on flower bulbs as a solution for a greener city.

NBV - THE NETHERLANDS BEEKEEPERS ASSOCIATION

The NBV is a national association of beekeepers. Its more than 8,500 members have a total of about 100,000 bee colonies under their care. Bee colonies are indispensable in our ecosystem. Bees pollinate flowers allowing nutrient-rich seeds and delicious fruits to grow. Bee colonies are vital for the creation of our food such as apples, strawberries and aubergines. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer different flowering plants to keep bee colonies healthy and vital year-round. We work with the NBV in compiling our mixture to make mixtures optimally attractive to bees and provide them with year-round food.

FLOWER PARADE BULB REGION

In April, our location is transformed into a construction site for the beautiful floats that bring the Flower Parade to life. The parade contributes to the preservation of a colourful, living Dutch tradition that inspires and connects people. By collaborating with the parade, we tell the story of flowers and show the beauty of our bulbs to the world.

EDUCATION AND PARTICIPATION IN EDUCATION

At JUB Holland, we are actively committed to sharing our knowledge about flower bulbs with education. Green education gets less and less attention, and we are happy to contribute to increasing awareness and knowledge in this field. Schools contact us, after which we invite classes to our nursery. There, pupils get a unique opportunity to learn more about flower bulbs. Our experts explain what flower bulbs are and how they grow. During a visit to our test garden and nursery, the pupils discover the practice behind our work. Finally, they visit Keukenhof, where they see the result: beautiful flowers in an inspiring show garden.

Yuverta
 

We also work with schools to challenge young people. We offer cases from our company, with which students solve a real problem. We do this at both primary and secondary schools. Our cooperation with Yuverta, the largest green educator in the Netherlands, plays an important role in this.
